In Berlin, our main partner is a community organization called Global Empowerment and Development Association (GEDA) e.V.. Among other things, the association works with various African communities in Berlin. More about GEDA e.V. can be found here.
The EMPOW working group in Berlin consists mainly of people of African origin who themselves have experience of migration and forced migration. They are social workers, activists, researchers and community organizers.
The focus of the work in Berlin is on research ethics, racism and empowerment.
